The brain and the justice in alternation

require from me.  That which feeds me

is the brain.  Justice usually only gets to see

how to take away from us in greedy action.

 

taxes and setbacks from infancy a damnation,

always disdainful in its aloofness to agree

with  people.  Only profits being intent to see

to take away from us in a real graduation.

 

I feel it is fair that the brain might replace

all that justice takes from us pitilessly

and thus sires justice within the mind alone,

 

as justice is no more than a dream we place

like the absence of injury or cruelty

that we may interpret as permanently grown.

O cérebro e a justiça, em alternância,

cobram de mim.   Quem me alimenta

é o cérebro.   A justiça se contenta

em retirar de mim, viva ganância,

 

impostos e prejuízos desde a infância,

com o mesmo desdém que sempre enfrenta

ao povo...  Pelas taxas que acalenta

e nos extorque com real constância.

 

Acho que é justo que o cérebro reponha

quanto a injustiça tira, sem piedade

e assim crie a justiça pela mente...

 

Porque justiça é tão só o que se sonha,

na ausência de uma afronta ou crueldade,

que se interpreta como permanente.
